Nintendo E3 Conference

I know you're all super jazzed about Nintendo's epic performance during E3. I wanna hear what you thought the best part of their conference was and why. Personally, I am SUPER excited for Zelda Skyward Sword and the 3DS. I didn't really think the 3DS would be that great, but it looks promising, especially with its backwards compatibility and the analogue stick. as for the new zelda game, it's zelda! what more do you need to know?

Dont forget Donkey Kong Country Returns! That was by far my favorite thing this E3.
Im sure Tom screamed like a 5 year old on a suger rush when he heard Kid Icarus announced!

I was really wondering what Project Sora was up to, but i was happy to see that it was a new Kid Icarus.

Been waiting for the new Golden Sun on the DS for a while so I'm glad they showed something else about it

I think its a good thing the 3DS let's you turn off the effect, people are already starting to complain. Looking forward to the new Zelda, artistically it look like Wind Wakers cell shading with a forest environment. I hope to see more soon.

Epic Yarn: Looks.. interesting?
3DS: bigger screen/analog stick is nice, don't really care about "3d" tho.

Nintendo did pretty good this year imo. Only thing that would have been mildly nice to see was a english Pokemon black/white teaser...

i think they didnt say anything about Pokemon because it's already been announced and Serebii has taken care of giving a bunch of information about it.

Epic Yarn: Interestingly Awkward.
Kid Icarus: Uprising: This, i have mixed feelings about. Can't explain it.
Zelda: Skyward Sword: To me, the graphics look like a mix between Wind Waker's and (this might be weird.) Zelda 2's. I think that this is the latest point in the timeline that fans have speculated about. For me, this feels like Zelda 3 is finally coming out. (not ALTTP) But at the same time, it seems like a new adventure.
Mario Sports Mix: Well, this is just a little weird...We've had 2 Olympic Crossovers with Sonic. They could've put these games in there as a little download thing.
3DS: This truly was Nintendo's hitting point (next to Zelda Wii). The 3D Graphics work in such a way, it feels like you're truly in the game.
All Together: For me, Nintendo owned Sony and Microsoft this year. Too bad that a mainstream Mario game wasn't announced. Speaking of which.....Wii Party = SUCKAGE. Mario Party 9 = WORKS DAMN BETTER.

well, gutsy, Zelda SS is cell-shaded, so it would make sense that it looks like Wind Waker

I have a feeling (don't ask me why) that skyward sword will pre-date OoT in the (unofficial) Zelda timeline, but that is just speculation

It does to be honest. The high-end speculation is that its the origin story of the sages, master sword, link, etc.
