Obama's Plan

Well, as you most likely know, Obama's stimulus plan as been passed, signed, and approved. But the thing is, is it a good idea? Why must it be passed because of it being Obama's? He is planning to spend more money than the US currently has IN debt. Not to mention with the poor economy, right now Bill Gates is richer than the United States in all truth. This seems to be going to get us nowhere. But you decide. Share with me and your fellow readers your thoughts on this bill.

Depression works in a cycle: people lose jobs, less money is spent, businesses lay off workers due to lower profits, etc... Giving people money via tax cuts or stimulus checks only serves as a temporary fix, when everyone's spent their money, the cycle will just restart. Plus, I've heard several bitter Republicans who care more about seeing Obama fail than seeing our country recover saying that they'll refuse to spend the money from tax cuts since that part of the plan relies on consumer spending.
