Bankruptcy is ahead for this major car company. What do you think GM and Chrysler should've done in the past? Also answer the poll question.

Stay In... It would kill Michigan completely if we lost GM and Chrysler.. This recession we've been in... I find it amusing how everyone is worrying, because Michigan has been like this for the past 2 decades. Our Governor is an idiot too. We are economically the worst state in America, and Detroit isn't considered a Major City anymore (Los Altos took Detroit's place as the 10th city on the list of Great Cities). We have Motown, Cars, and Hockey, but that's it. We get nothing out of it... and the only real profit is coming from cities like Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor and Mackinaw Island. Our education is being cut, and our Quality of Life is dying. Detroit is known internationally as a dead city on life support. So, if GM and Chrysler die, Michigan would be one of the worst places to get a job in the United States (Metro Detroit serves as the largest area, but ALL of Michigan would be considered dead)...

To be honest, GM and Chrysler need to be kept in business because without them supplying jobs, that is HOW many Americans without work? We are talking a magnitude of thousands. And to close them down would be like dropping an A-Bomb on top of a Black Hole. It's not going to help, if anything it'll make the disaster 10 times larger. The jobs are required to properly circulate money. The problem is all stemming from the over-powered banks which are too lawyer-inclined to be witted out. They are using rules set up to prevent them from being overpowered to their advantage but picking at details and NOBODY but a few hundred in the United States are noticing it. Foreclosure rates go up because banks make demands they know the clients can't keep and same goes for debt with GM and Chrysler. The people they borrow money from are going to make demands far beyond what is ethical then use the confines of the contracts in order to raise the interest rates and payment amount to unruly highs. Thus why GM and Chrysler are pinned down. They can't keep up, nor can the concerned public with their own possessions. If companies like GM can't make the cut, how are we supposed to be expected to stay afloat? That's some major bulls***.
