Predictions for Nintendo's E3 2009

E3 is just around the corner: Tuesday, June 2nd! Water you expecting/hoping for from Nintendo this year? You should all know what I'm thinking; Kid Icarus Wii :-) I'm also hoping for a REAL new Zelda game for Wii, or perhaps a localization of MOTHER 3. Maybe another Mario game? Maybe it's too soon. Maybe a new Wii accessory, like external hard drive support. Share your thoughts with us!

Here we go.

-DSi Colors are a given, so I'll just get that out of the way.

-I hope to see Virtual Handheld or something of the likes for the DSi. Lots of signs are pointing to it, and wouldn't require much effort to get up and runing.

-DS Lite price drop.

-Announcement of some DSi Enhanced and Exclusive games.

-Pokemon HG and SS release window announced for the US?

-Definitely something pertaining Kid Icarus.

I expect at least one of these after last years poor conference.

EDIT: Totally forgot this. How about the announcement of the special Club Nintendo Platinum and Gold prize?

Maybe a Star Fox, Maybe a Kirby Game, And i agree with BigAl, Virtual Console and different DSi colors (preferably a different skin)

Hopefully a new kirbeh game!

Mother Trilogy(hopefully) . Most likely Wii Fit Plus, Wii Sports Resort and Some new game like Pilotwings

Hello fellow gamers, its is I, the one and only, Mr.Yuppers (or Steve). I am here today to talk about the E3 Convention of 2009. Nintendo always like to announce something big, awesome, and HUGE that makes all gamers go crazy with joy and happiness. This year I really hope it's Kid Icarus for the Wii or DSi (DS lite).

Recently i read an article at IGN.com saying the following:

'Key' Nintendo Game Coming
GameStop told to reserve shelf space for new game.

UK, April 16, 2009 - Nintendo is looking nearer to revealing a new triple-A title, with GameStop CEO Dan DeMatteo stating he believes a big first-party game will be on shelves by the end of the year.

"We think there will be a Nintendo key property coming out by the end of the year," said DeMatteo in an interview with CNBC, "They haven't given us any insight, but they have told us to reserve [shelf] space."

Signs point towards a big reveal at this year's E3, with Nintendo keen to make up for what was widely perceived as a lackluster showing at last year's show. Nintendo's vice president of communications Denise Kaigler recently alluded to a big presence this year in an interview with IGN.

The identity of the game remains open to speculation, although a new instalment in the Mario, Pikmin or even Zelda franchise remain some of the most likely candidates.

What do you think? Sounds... amazing!? I hope so. Sadly this doesn't confirm that a new Kid Icarus game is on the way . I really hope with all my hearts and arrows that a new Kid Icarus game DOES come out for Wii and DSi (DS lite). Hopefully it will make Nintendo to sell so many copies that they'll be flying off the shelves with Wings of Icarus. Hopefully we'll see it in action at Nintendo's E3 of 2009! I am telling you this because... YOU SHOULD BE GOING CRAZY! So in a comment say the following!

"Pray the Gods of Icarus that KID ICARUS Wii or DSi is coming out and will be announced at E3 2009! GO NINTENDO GO! PK YUPPERS THE FIGHT IS TOM!"


So, c'mon Nintendo, give us a Kid Icarus Game for Wii and DSi (DS lite). Let us see those arrows sail in action at E3 2009!

kid Icarus wii and lots of other games!
this should be a very good year for Nintendo or the big N
as Nintendo hardcore base calls it!
in over all i think it will be a very good year for Nintendo e3 conference

All I want is that Kirby Adventure game that was announced for the GameCube and then cancelled. I'm really hoping they will make it for the Wii. It was so beautiful-looking. That is all I want from Nintendo and HAL.

Other things that would be nice to hear about would be F-Zero, Star Fox, or even Custom Robo finally making it to the Wii. And, again, STILL waiting for that Kirby. If it's not exactly that Kirby, I'll be somewhat satisfied with some Kirby game, since the Wii does need a Kirby game right about soon.

I have a feeling something regarding Kid Icarus Wii will come up. I also think something about Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney Investigations will come up. Who knows? NOT ME! D:
