| Currently, as some of you may know, is that there is almost no doubt in the minds of people that the world as a whole currently OWES more money than it has at all. I can see how this is true. Did you know that the US dollar bill NO longer is backed by natural resources like gold and silver and is more along the lines of a promisary bill or IOU? Its terrible. Not to mention the current idea for a free health care system, as nice as it sounds, not only is foolish due to lack of speed and quality, but also cuts down your freedom of choosing a healthcare plan? And need i remind you that some of the people in countries like France and Canada have to come to America in search of healthcare due to this very same health care plan? Its appearant that the Obama administration is spending and spending and spending. And taxing taxing taxing. It personally seems to me to be getting worse and not better at all. You decide for yourselves though. This is what I've seen and its just sad. You can't temporarily fix something. Temporary isn't good enough. Long-term is. I hope this all gets sorted out or America will no longer be the same, nor my home.

| You have a point there with Obama. They keep spending and they have done little. Heck, maybe it will get worse when we get to 2011... We're in Crises People!!! | |

| we've been talking about this in government and i agree. the government wants to spend all this money for health care on people who don't have it. but where is the government going to get the money for it? we're currently 13 trillion- TRILLION- dollars in debt. it was 11 trillion just three weeks ago. the only way to get the money is for them to raise taxes, which are already high enough. my government teacher made the comment that we are sorely due for a raise in taxes because we have to lowest taxes out of any other democratic-like country. our taxes are lower than others due to the fact that other nations pay *way* more taxes for their government-run health care and schooling. people hear about government paying for something and they think "isn't that great? something we don't have to pay for." the problem is we DO pay for it, especially those in the working class. my family is not poor, but we have a difficult time paying for things as it is. i think our nation is due for some serious changes, but i dont think this will help. truth be told, i think there should be a time limit on welfare and disability. i understand that some people absolutely cannot work because of some condition, but there is always some work out there for someone. i know most of you know someone that gets government help simply because they're either too lazy to work or do not want to work. what our government needs to do is find the source of our problems, not just cover it up or bail everyone out. that's not how life works, and our nation is going to be having some serious problems if they keep doing it | |

| What I don't get, where does it go and come back towards. I mean why spend if they just goes back to them. and its odd how people spend millions on stuff that could cost 1 mill. it makes no sense. How can the Gov. Be in Debt is beyond me. why fund something that looses anyways. and Why FUND anything. | |
