Castlevania GBA games: Circle of the Moon, Harmony of Dissonance, Aria of Sorrow
Last time Tom started playing the oldest Castlevania games, but he has played SotN now and I think playing the GBA games would be interesting.

Umm, if possible, Resident Evil 2

if not then any Resident Evil or Silent Hill game (the both tend to be pretty good for horror)

I say he should play a bad horror movie game... Not ghostbusters since tom already did that last year... So i may say he needs to do Nightmare on elm street =P

Parasite Eve may be good. I 2nd recommend Eternal Darkness for a 2nd play. Fatal Frame or Silent hill. Maybe the new Wii one if it's out. Can't remember when it does. RE: Code Veronica I don't think he played that and RE 5. Oh and Castlevania of course

I'm pretty sure both are short enough to actually finish in Shocktober.

I say more fatal frame, Yuki should be back by then, plus i highly think that Mortal combat and gears of war isn't gonna be related to Shocktober at all mainly because those games just aren't scary. This is whats suitable for Shocktober not just what you want to see tom play. I believe tom should play zombies ate my neighbors, and plants vs zombies sure its not scary but its most diffently shocktober related.

I second elguapo's call for Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Awesome game and shocktober material.

i say the silent hill games, at least the first one or two. maybe save the rest for next year, if the stream is still around. and definately Left4Dead. it's an amazing game

House of the Dead games?

I think "Devil My Cry 1, 3, or 4" is a good choice since it's got a nice creepy atmos"fear" and Doom is also good whoever said that, as well as maybe some "Alone in the Dark" other than that maybe Monsters in my Pocket, not nessisarlly are horrior game but you get to play as a Vampire or Frankenstein.

"EDIT": I almost forgot about "Deadly Creatures" for the Wii I'm come on! you play as a Tiranchula and a Scorpian. whats more scary than that? Creepy Crawlers!

I came up with another game. It can be played through quite quickly, but beating it fully could take a couple wiiplays. It's called The Path, it's a PC (mac also?) game that's available on Steam and from the creator's website. Horror game based on Little Red Riding Hood.

I think it would be cool if Tom played Grim Fandango. It's an adventure game directed by Tim Schafer, who worked on Monkey Island 1 and 2, as well as Psychonauts.
It's not exactly a Halloween game, per se, but it's based on the Mexican Day of the Dead holiday, and takes place in the Land of the Dead.
It's a really great game (One of my favorites of all time), and I think it would be pretty appropriate for Shocktober, even if it isn't some ultra-violent bloody horror game.

I second all of this. Especially the DAS series.

Definitely play at least RE2, or possibly REmake (pretty much any RE with zombies in it). Silent Hill also sounds good (any one).
