It seems that A LOT of people are having trouble with Adblock Plus. I'm here to fix that. Here is a step by step set of instructions to set it up.


First of all, I'd like to list the benefits of Adblock Plus:
  • No Google Ads
  • No Banner Ads
  • No Flash Ads (Including Ads embedded in flash objects)
  • No DIV Ads
  • If you install the rick-roll blocker, no rick rolls


  1. Search for Adblock Plus on http://addons.mozilla.org

  2. Look for the Adblock Plus entry on the search results page.

  3. Clikc the "Add to Firefox" button.

  4. Click "Install Now" on the new dialog.

  5. Click "Restart Firefox" when the add-ons window pops up.

  6. When firefox restarts, the add-ons window should open to confirm the install.

    A subscription dialog should open as well. Select easylist (USA) or any other subscriptions that apply to you and click the Subscribe button.

    If it does not pop-up, click the options button on the Adblock Plus add-ons entry and go to File>Add Filter Subscription...

There is no reason that Adblock Plus should not work other than you don't have the right version of firefox or you did something wrong.

As for other browsers, some people have had luck using the popout to view the stream without ADs.

Ok so far i found something that works for me, seeing as ad blocker plus crashes firefox a lot, for some stupid reason on my computer with ad blocker plus enabled, i found something called Karma blocker it blocks every ad in a video and outside of a video. Plus it seems to work way better. keeps firefox from crashing.

Edit: ok maybe it might not block flash ads but so far it blocks most things i can't know until tom streams seeing as his stream is the only one i know of that has ads in it. other than that atleast it doesn't crash every 2 freaking minutes.....

yea well i just use adblocker because ad blocker plus craps out and kills firefox every 5 minutes.
